EAC Meeting Minutes
January 21, 2004
Community Center
Members Present: Patti Page, Tara Jude, Mary Beaudette, Karen
Casto, Kristi Commers, Tom Leonhardt, and Denise Hanson
Called meeting to order and made member introductions. Reviewed
December minutes. Discussed the purpose of the EAC Committee, and
did an overview of 2003 accomplishments.
CEAP Food Drive
Will hold the first CEAP food drive from February 2 through February
th
13. Denise will make up the flyer to send out with January 30
paychecks. EAC members will put out boxes for collections on February
ndth
2, and will deliver the collections to Patti in Admin. after the 13 for
CEAP to collect. People will have several non-food items to choose from
this time, such as toothpaste, shampoo, dish soap, and laundry soap.
Shape Up Challenge
There will be no Shape Up Challenge this year due to lack of interest.
Advanced Tickets
Renaissance tickets will be available again this year. An interest in
having other advance tickets made available to employees was brought
up, so Karen will be checking into getting advanced movie tickets.
Other Discussion
Fund raising options were discussed. Several good ideas were presented
such as a chili feed, pizza days, employee cook offs, and mid-winter
breakfasts, but the Employee Cook Book was the most popular with the
committee members. Tom will be checking into how Savage is putting
theirs together, and maybe we can do one for Brooklyn Center.
Next Meeting
The next meeting will be held February 18, 2004 at the EBHC at
9:30 a.m.
