Brown Bag Lunches – Kelli Wick spoke at the meeting and asked for EAC’s
help in promoting brown bag lunch seminars and in soliciting ideas for topics.
Flowers –Joyce Gulseth will send out an email soon after Memorial Day asking
for volunteers to help plant containers either before/after work or during
lunches. The Brooklyn Center Ladies Auxiliary indicated they would adopt a
flowerbed in Central Park. The Sign Shop will provide a sign recognizing the
Ladies Auxiliary.
BC Cookbook – The committee examined a cookbook kit provided by Morris
Press. The kit illustrated the layout/design options available and pricing
guidelines. The committee discussed pricing options and determined an
advanced sale discount and a quantity discount for purchase of 3 or more
cookbooks will be available. A subcommittee was formed to determine layout
and options. A flyer will be sent out with the paychecks on June 4 that will
include an order form and a form to submit recipes. The committee is hoping to
have 150 recipes submitted.
BC Logo Clothing – The committee has been asked if they are interested in
sponsoring a sale of BC logo clothing. This issue has been tabled until the next
meeting on June 16, 2004.
Health Care Savings Committee – Kelli Wick asked the committee to help
solicit volunteers to ensure each department is represented on the Health Care
Savings Committee. The time commitment would be approximately 2-4 hours a
month.
Next Meeting – June 16, 2004 at 9:30 AM at Earle Brown Heritage Center.
