EAC MEETING MINUTES
JUNE 18, 2003
CITY HALL
MEMBERS PRESENT: Jeannine Pfann, Becky Boie, Patti Page, Kristi Commers,
Tracy Bushinger, and Robin Hartfiel.
FLOWERS: Jim Glasoe and Jeannine Pfann will be going shopping at Malmborg’s
today for more plants. Cub Foods donated many plants. Thanks to everyone that
help plant and weed. Tracy will create signs for the flowerbeds and planters saying
donated by Cub Foods or Malmborg’s. A letter of thanks will be sent to those who
donated money or plants. Maybetake a picture of the beds or planters to send
along with the letter.

PICNIC: Tuesday, July 8 will be the employee picnic. Flyer will go out with

paychecks on Friday, June 20. Return RSVP to Jeannine by July 1, 2003. EAC to
bring desserts.

BLOODMOBILE: Bloodmobile is Monday, July 28 from 9 am-12 pm. Sign up begins
st
on July 1. Employees can sign up with Tara Jude at CARS and the outside public
will call Sally Johnson from Memorial Blood center. Walk-ins are OK.
GOLF OUTING: The golf outing will be in the fall. More will be discussed at the
next EAC meeting.
FALL FOOD DRIVE: We will have a food drive in August. We will decide on a
chairperson and what item to donate to the food drive at the next EAC meeting.
DINNER CRUISE: Discussion at the next EAC meeting to see if any interest.
OTHER: Due to low attendance by EAC members, discussion to have alternative
person for EAC for each dept. come to meetings if EAC member cannot attend.
Maybe EAC could do more things with more participation. It may be hard to have
an alternative person for each department because some departments are very
small. More discussion next meeting.
