EAC MEETING MINUTES
NOV. 19, 2003

Minutes from the October 15, 2003 meeting were approved.
Entertainment Coupon Books
Book sales were a huge success! After 2 separate orders, the EAC sold 34 books!
Toys for Tots
Set boxes out for toy collections Monday, Dec. 1. The boxes will be picked up mid December, and
delivered to KARE 11 by members of the Police Department.
Holiday Luncheon
The menu has been agreed upon, and fliers were sent out with the last paychecks. Money is Due
st
December 1and the checks are to be made out to the “B.C. Employee Fund.” Gift certificates
will be given as door prizes and game prizes. Tara and Robin will be picking up the gift
certificates.
New EAC Members
Mary Baudette will be replacing Jeannine Pfann,
Karen Casto will be taking Robin Hartfiel’s place, and
Tom Leonhardt will be replacing Ed Atanasoff in Engineering
EAC 2003 Accomplishments
The EAC Committee was very productive and had many accomplishments during the 2003 year!
We managed to spruce up City Hall and other areas of the city by cleaning up the gardens and
planting flowers, encouraged healthy lifestyles with the Shape Up Challenge, and promoted
employees to get together and have some fun at the golf scramble and on the dinner cruise.
Some other contributions made for the benefit of the public were the food drives, the
bloodmobile, Operation Shoebox, and coming up is toys for tots. We also had successful
Renaissance ticket sales and Entertainment book sales!
We hope next year is just as good!
