EAC MEETING MINUTES
DECEMBER 17, 2003
CITY HALL
Members Present: Tara Jude, Patti Page, Denise Hanson, Becky Boie, Kristi Commers,
George Jennrich, Jeannine Pfann
Special thanks to Michael McCauley for providing home-baked cookies and bread for the
meeting. They were delicious and greatly appreciated by all of us.
Minutes for the November meeting were reviewed.
Entertainment Coupon Books
EAC sold a total of 34 coupon books. Proceeds from the book sales were used to
purchase door prizes for the holiday luncheon. If possible, EAC will sell books again
next year.
Toys for Tots
Police officers picked up the toys from all departments on Tuesday. Toys will be
delivered to KARE 11 today, Wednesday, December 17, 2003. The toy drive was very
successful this year. Thanks to everyone who contributed!
Holiday Luncheon Feedback
Feedback on the luncheon has been primarily positive. Food could have been a little
warmer and some employees were disappointed that there weren’t a variety of desserts
like last year. Even though we had originally ordered roast beef, the ribs and chicken
were very well received.
End of Year EAC Thank You
The date has been changed to January 7, 2004, due to schedule conflicts of some
members. We will meet at 11:30 a.m.
Jeannine thanked all EAC members for their hard work and support in the last year. 2003
was a very busy and very good year for EAC. Even though the City could not fund any
EAC activities this year due to budget cuts, EAC was able to leave the 2004 committee
with more money than they started with in 2003.
Other Discussion
2004 EAC member representing Engineering, Tom Leonhardt, joined the meeting. Tom
has served on a similar committee in his last job and will bring many new ideas to EAC.
Next Meeting
Patti Page and Tara Jude, co-chairs for 2004, will hold the first EAC 2004 meeting on
January 21, 2004, at the Community Center Play Corner.
