Consensus was to get a price bid from Flik on the same menu as last year. Jeannine will bring last year’s menu and proposal for this year to February meeting. Holiday Luncheon Jenny will chair holiday luncheon committee. 2002 holiday luncheon will be catered instead of potluck. We will get proposed menus and bids for a catered luncheon. Cost needs to be in the $8-10 per person range, including tax and servicecharge. CEAP Need person to chair this committee. Perhaps Ed Lovelace. Go back to food donations for 2002. Possibly establish some type of competition between city departments where the department donating the most food (measured in pounds) would win a pizza party or??? Toys for Tots Gary Coleman will be in charge again. Brown Bag Lunch/Seminars Attendance has been poor. Need to consider whether or not they are still worthwhile. If we decide to continue with them, we need a new name. Employee Clothing Dave Valker will be in charge. He has some information now and will get additional materials from Mark Booth. Tentatively set for sometime in early Spring. EAC MINUTES, JANUARY 16, 2002, CON’T. Other Last year the Secretary position rotated every meeting. This system did not seem to work very well. Jeannine took minutes at today’s meeting. Possibly she and Robin can alternate. During a general discussion about the duties of EAC, it was brought up that the Liquor Store is not represented. The acting manager should be contacted to see if she would like to send a representative. George proposed having some type of golf outing at Centerbrook. It would be held after work in September and would include 9 holes of golf and some type of refreshments. He will talk to Jim Glasoe about cost of green fees. Next meeting will be on February 20, 2002. in the Board Room of Earle Brown Heritage Center.
