EMPLOYEE ACTION COMMITTEE MINUTES

Roll Call: Gary Coleman, Rick Nelson, Jeannine Pfann, Maria Rosenbaum, Kristi
Commers, George Jennrich, and Robin Hartfiel
CEAP
In January or February we will be collecting spaghetti sauce and noodles for CEAP.
The City Manager will make cookies for the department who brings the most
spaghetti sauce.
CHRISTMAS PARTY

Christmas party is Tuesday, December 17. The caterers will need to know how
many people will be attending the Christmas party a week before (12/11/02). Robin
gave Maria a list of retirees to invite to the party, she will send out invites this
week. Flyer will go out with paychecks this week. Maria will send an email out to
remind everyone about the Christmas party. Maria and Robin will go out and
purchased gift certificates for prizes. Maria or Robin will make up the nametags.
Gary Coleman or Maria will bring a boom box; Jeannine will bring Christmas
CD’s/tapes. Check with Ed about being Santa, we can’t use Jeannine’s Santa suit.
Rick will take care of setting up; George will help if needed. All members of the
EAC will bring in a dessert for the Christmas party.
TOYS FOR TOTS
Gary brought in boxes for the Toys for Tots drive for each department. Decorate

(if so desire) and put out by Monday, November 25. Gary will let us know when he
will be picking up the toys. George will help if needed.
VENDING MACHINE
City Manager asked if we were interested in taking over the responsibility of the
vending machine at City Hall. Maria will find out more details (do we purchased the
items, stock it, etc.).

There will be no meeting in December. There will be a pizza party January 8 at
Scoreboard at 11:30 a.m. The first meeting next year will be January 22,2003
with the new EAC members at City Hall at 9:30 a.m. Jeannine will think about being
the chairperson next year. Discussion of rotating the job of secretary so one person
doesn’t get stuck doing it all the time.
