CEAP
Based on the success and positive employee response of the pancake mix food drive held in
late August, EAC will sponsor an additional food drive in early February. Spaghetti sauce
will be collected.
Maria will talk to City Manager to see if he still wants to provide the treat. If not, a
Department Head will be asked to provide the home-baked prize for the department with
the largest donation.
Christmas Party
Menu is set. Room is reserved. Caterer will handle all food, plates, napkins and flatware.
Maria did a flyer that will be distributed with the last paycheck in November.
Josh has table coverings and centerpieces. He will put them out the day of the party. He
will let us know if he needs help.
We will need nametags for attendees. Robin will make these; Maria will give her the list of
names. We will also need registration slips for the drawing.
We need an updated list of retirees who will be invited. Scott from payroll should be able
to provide us with this list.
Gary will bring boombox and Christmas CD’s.
Jeannine and Robin are in charge of trivia games.
EAC members will bring desserts of their choosing.
Happenings Books
We will not be selling Happenings Books this year. However, EAC will consider selling them
next year since CARS is no longer going to sell them.
Toys for Tots
Gary will provide a box for each department. EAC member will decorate box and promote
Toys for Tots within their department.
Frosty Challenge
The Frosty Challenge is similar to the Shape-Up Challenge and is designed to help people
maintain their weight during the Holiday Season. It was decided to pass on this challenge
this year but to consider it for next year.
Next EAC meeting is Wednesday, November 20, 2002,
at City Hall in the All American Room.
