HomeMy WebLinkAbout2000 05-17 EACM EAC Meeting Minutes May 17, 2000 Those present: Marc Booth, Kelli Wick, Sharon Kutzke, Carol Holt, Gary Coleman, Jean Gould, George Jennrich, Dave Valker, Bonnie St. Dryden, and Ron Boman. Approval of Minutes Minutes approved as read with changes noted to correct spelling. Old Business - Logo clothing wrap-up discussion. The program is complete with only two clothing pieces back-ordered. Please be sure to inform employees that clothing can be ordered any time by contacting Fanfare Productions -- the cost may be change. The Committee members have received positive feedback in regards to the clothing. The only comments that have been made were that people would like to see their department name under the Brooklyn Center logo. -Employee Appreciation Picnic. Flyers and sign-up sheets are out. Thanks to Bonnie for her work on the new menu. Remember to remind employees the cost is free. -Shape Up 2000. The program ends May 19. The City will continue to participate in similar type programs in the future. New Business -Second Brown Bag lunch “Home Fire Prevention”. The date has been set for August 10. There was discussion regarding offering a salad option. -Tour of the Fire and Police Stations. Chief Boman is arranging bus tours of both the police and fire buildings for sometime in June or July. Pick up locations need to be confirmed. Tours will be at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Other Business None. EAC Miscellaneous - Next meeting date - Wednesday, June 21, 2000 at 9 - 10:30 a.m. in Conference Room B.
