HomeMy WebLinkAbout2011-011 CCRits adoption: Member Dan Ryan RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -11 introduced the following resolution and moved RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION AND APPRECIATION OF MARK YELICH FOR HIS DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE AS COUNCIL MEMBER WHEREAS, Mark Yelich served as a member of the Brooklyn Center City Council from January 1, 2007, through December 31, 2010; and WHEREAS, his service to the City and his consistent leadership have contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the city; and WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, it is highly appropriate that his services and achievements for the betterment of the city be permanently recognized and expressed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that Mark Yelich is hereby recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center, and this resolution serves as a visible and lasting expression of gratitude for the leadership and service he has rendered and the benefits he has secured to the citizens of the City of Brooklyn Center. January 10, 2011 Date ATTEST: 9 City Clerk Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tim Roche and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Tim Willson, Carol Kleven, Kay Lasman, Tim Roche, and Dan Ryan; and the following voted against the same: none; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
