SPECIAL SESSION
NOVEMBER 2, 1976

C5A I to Order The City Council met in special session as an Election
Canvass Board at 10 :15 p.m.
Roll Call Mayor Cohen, Councilmen Britts Fignar, and Kuefler
Also present were City Manager Donald Poss and City
Clerk Al Lindman .
Canvass of City The City Council proceeded to canvass the City election
Election Returns returns at the various City precincts, reporting ballots
cast in City of Brooklyn Center contests as follows:
Office o f City Councilman Ballot Count
Robert Jensen 5,509
Gene Lhotka 6,154
Upon completing the election canvass member Tiny Kuefler
introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
,, ESOLUTION RESOLUTION REGARDING CANVASS OF NOVEMBER 2, 1976
NO. 76 -151 CTrY' ELECTION
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being
taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Philip
Cohen, Maurice Britts, Bill Fignar, and Tony Kuefler; and
the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said
resolution was duly passed and adopted.
Adjournment Motion by Councilman Britts and seconded by Councilman
Kuefler to adjourn the meeting. Voting in favor were:
Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Bill Fignar, and Tony Kuefler.
Voting against: none. The motion passed unanimously. The
City Council meeting as a Canvass Board adjourned at
12 :25 a.m. , November 3, 1976.
