OF THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER IN THE COUNTY OF
HENNEPIN AND THE STATE OF MINNESOTA
SPECIAL SESSION
SEPTEMBER 11, 1973
CITY HALL
Call to Order The City Council met in special session as an election
canvass board at 8:30 p.m.
Roll Call Mayor Cohen, Councilmen Leary, Britts, Fignar and
Kuefler. Also present were City Manager Donald Poss
and City Clerk Allen Lindman.
The City Council proceeded to canvass the primary
election returns at the various City precincts, reporting
ballots cast in City of Brooklyn Center contests as
follows:

Beauchane 607
Horan 326
RESOLUTION
NO. 73 -151 Upon completing the election canvass member Bill
Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION REGARDING C[ NIVASS OF
SEPTEMBER 11, 1973 CITY PRIMA?( ELECTION
The motion for the adop:ion of the foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler, and upon
vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Bill Fignar, Tony
Kuefler and Maurice Britts; aaid the following voted
against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was
declared duly passed and adopted.
Adjournment Motion by Councilman Britts, seconded by Councilman
Leary to adjourn the meeting. Vcting in favor were:
Mayor Cohen, Councilmen Leary, Britts, Fignar and
Kuefler. Voting against: none. Motion passed
unanimously. The City Council acting as a canvass
board adjourned at 9 :45 p.m.
