HomeMy WebLinkAbout1955 02-01 CCM Special Session Minutes of the roceedin of the Village Council p g g of the Village of Brooklyn Center in the County of Hennepin and State of Minnesota, including all accounts audited by said Council February 1, 1955 The Village Council met in special session and called to order by r Arthur Paulson, Mayor, at 9 :00 P.M. r The following members were present: Arthur Paulson, Wayne Gageby, Glen Sonnenberg, Allen Lindman and H. R. Jones. Motion made by Glen Sonnenberg and seconded by Wayne Gageby to pay Kenneth Bull $100.00 per month for November and December, 1954, and January and February, 1955, the full amount of $400.00 to be paid the end of February, 1955• Motion carried. Motion made by H. R. Jones and seconded by Wayne Gageby that the final plat of Fair Meadows Addition be accepted, subject to all the restrictions of the Platting Ordinance, and the Mayor and Clerk authorized to sign the same. Motion carried. Motion made by Wayne Gageby to commit the Village of Brooklyn Center to making the following improvements in accordance with the resolution heretofore identified as Improvement Commitments for VA Loan Purposes. Said resolution shall have inserted in it the following: Property to be improved: Fair Meadows Addition Estimated cost: $5,000.00 Date of completion: 12 months Improvements to be made: Grading, graveling and oil stabilizing of all streets and installation of necessary storm sewer within the boundaries of the aforementioned addition Builder: Claus H. Johnson & Sons, Inc. The foregoing motion was duly seconded by Allen Lindman, and all members present voting in favor thereof, the motion was carried. Motion made by H. R.
