HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969 11-13 CCM Special Session with Citizens Architectural Advisory Committee FF Minutes of the Proceedings of the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center In the County of Hennepin and State of Minnesota November 13, 1969 The City Council met and in the absence of a quorum was called to order by Mayor Philip Cohen at 7 :50 P. M. Roll Call: Philip Cohen, and Theodore Willard. Also present were: D. G. Poss, Charles Van Eeckhout and Robert Haarman. Members of CAAC present were: Verlin Atkins, Gil Engdahl and Ed Theisen. The Cerny representatives present was Robert Pierce. This ninth meeting of the Brooklyn Center City Council and the Citizens Architectural Advisory Committee (CAAC) with Cerny Associates, Inc. was conducted for the purpose of reviewing revised modifications for the East Side Fire Station and to establish a bid opening date for same. After a review of the architectural plans with Robert Pierce the unanimous consensus was to approve the plans and specifications for the East Side Fire Station as revised. The City Manager reported that Councilman Leary had earlier reviewed the plans and expressed approval of them. At 8 :25 P. M. the meeting was adjourned by Mayor hen. Clerk Mayor
