Tha Village: Council met in special session and was called to order
by Mayor pro tem Howard Heck at 7;30 P. M,
Roll Call; Present were: Howard Heck, john Leary, Earl Simons and
Phil Cohen. Absent; Mayor Gordon Erickson. Also present were A. J. Lee,
D. G. Poss P. W. . Holmlund, M. R. Hyd T. L. Hadd and Reverend Christ
Rev. Christensen of Brooklyn Centet Free Church offered the invocation.
Motion by Phil Cohen and seconded by john Leary to approve the minutes
of the February 8, 1965 Council Meeting. Motion carried unanimously,
Motior. by john Leary and seconded by Phil Cohen to authorize the
Mayor and Clerk to elute an agreement with the `City of Crystal and
the Village of Golden Valley for the purpose of hiring a qualified Sanitarian.
Motion cenried unanimously.
Motion by Phil Cohen and seconded by Earl Simons to approve the
fallowing licenses;

Motion carried unanimously.
The Council discussed`the second report of the Joint Program with
Mr. Hugh Faville of the Metropolitan Planning Commission,
Mr. Gerald Walsh, representing the Osseo Concrete Company and

action against the proposed tAx on sand and gravel in Independent School District
No. 279.
Motion by Phil. Cohen: and seconded by John Leary to instruct the
Administrator to prepare a draft resolution similar to that adopted by the Ossw
Village Council which would set forth the Council' opposition to Senate gpo n to File

unanimously,
Motion by TQha Leary and seconded by Earl Simons to adjourn. Motion
