M. Roll Call: Mayor Gordon Erickson, i M o r Y n Phil Cohen Earl Simons John Lear and Howard Heck were present. ent Also present: p p nt. T.L. T. L. H dd . The Mayor announced that the order of business was the consideration of the returns of the elect held November 2 1 h offices 965. The ffc up for election were Mayor, Trustee and Treasurer. Ballots were cast for candidates as follows: For the Office of Mayor: Votes Receiv Philip Q. Cohen 2,1',55 Jay Bush 1, 394 Shafeek Amar 2 For the Office of Trustee: Theodore L. Willard 2,0 Marie D. Erickson 1,41 2 0 H. J. M. Fourre 2',57 For the Office of Treasurer: Roger W. Van House 2,029 Arthur F. Callahan 1,727 After completing the foregoing canvass, member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village' of Brooklyn Center that it is hereby determined upon the foregoing canvass that the following are hereby declared the duly elected officials: Mayor Philip Q. ,Cohen Trustee • ............... Theodore L. Willard Treasurer Roger W. Van House The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Phil Cohen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Gordon Erickson, Earl Simons, John Leary, Howard Heck and Phil Cohen and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. Motion by Earl Simons and seconded by John Leary to adjourn. Motion carried unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 9 :35 P.M.. AM gai i I
