March 20, 1961
The Village douncil met in Special session and was called to order
by Mayor William Super at 7:45 P.M.
Roil Call: hlayor William Super, Henry Qorff, Howard Heck and
Clifford Wellman were present, Member Carl Carlson was absent.
Motion by How and seconded b Clifford Wellman to uphold
the recommendation of .the Planning Commission to grant a variance to Marren
Arnold on Lot 12 Bloom 4, Beilvue Acres, to permit a side yard of 7%' on
the north sWe of said Lot 12. Notion carried.
Motion by Henry Qorff that the Village Council agree to a public
hearing, regarding the dismissal of James Fischbach, by the three previously-
appointed arbitrat!" board members pursuant to the Veterans Preference Act
on the condition of a written stipulation by James Fischbach that the previous
action of the arbitration board is not valid. The Mayor then called fW a
secod" of the motion, and there being none, the motion failed.
Member Howard -Heck introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION REINSTATING JAMES FISCHBACH
AS,;MANACER ,OF LIQUOR ff E CVO. i,
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Village Council reinstate
James Fischbach as Manager of Liquor Store No. I
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Clifford Wellman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Howard Heck and Clifford Wellman; and the following
voted against the same`: Henry Dorff and William Super; whereupon said reso-
lution was declared lost.
Motion by Howard Heck and seconded by Clifford Wellman to adjourn.
Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 12 ;30 a.m.
