Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center
in the County of Hennepin and State of
Minne
December 1, 1959
The Village Council met in special session and was oalled to order
by Mayor Super at 8.15 P.M.
Boll Calls Mayor Super, Carl Carlson and Wayne Gageby were present *.
Clerk Russ Jones and trustee Clifford Wellman were absent.
Member Carl Carlson introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION ACCA.PTING BIDS
WHEREAS, the Village Administrator and Assistant tn'iniotr*:tor
have. reported that on November 24, 1959 at 2:00 P.M, they
opened and tabulated bU# reeelved for remodeling of the
Village Hall at 7100 Osseo Road and that said bids were as.
follows:

NOW, THERRIM. BE IT RESMYBD by the Village Council of the
Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the low bid of Olson-
Anderson Inc, of Edina, Minnesota, as to the furnishing of
labor and materials for the remodeling of the Village Ball is
deemed to be the best bid submitted by responsible bidders for
village purposes, and said bid is hereby accepted.
The notion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seecaled
by member Wayne Ga►geby, and upon vote being taken ther s the following
voted in favor thereof: William N. Super, Carl Carlson and Wayne Gageby,
and the following voted against the same: None; whereupon said resolution
was declared duly passed and adopted.

RESMUT ON ACCEPTING BID
WHEREAS, the Village Administrator and Assistant Administrator have
reported that on November 24, at 2:00 P.M. they opened and
tabulated bids received for the electrical work in remodeling the
Village Hall at 7100 Osseo Road end that said bids were as
follows:

NOW TEMEFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the
Village of :BrooklyA Covter, Wmnesots , that, the to bid of
Skeldon -Green Electric, Inc.. as to the fwal4king
materials for the electrical work of the-. lowx4eling of
Village hall is deemed to be the best big vubisitted by a
responsible bidder for Village purposes and said bid is hereby
accepted*
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by member Carl Carlson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the fOUAVIng
voted in favor thereof= William N. Super, Carl Carleca and Way= Gageby;
and the following voted sgtiast the : iaee whereupon said resolution
was declared duly4 paste end adopted.
Member Carl Carlson introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption=
RESOLUTION APPOINTING DEPUTY CLERK
GHMMS, Cleric Russ Jones will be unable to fulfill his
duties as Village Clerk during the Village election on
December 8 1959 0 pand Clerk Russ Jones vishoe to appoint
Al Lindman as deputy clerk,
NOW, 'I MWCXRE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Village Council
of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Vl=esota, approve the
appointment of Allen Lindman as Deputy Clerk.
The motion for the adoption of the toregoiag resolution was duly
seconded by member Wayne Gageby, and upon vote being taken tberomp
the follotng voted in favor thereof: William N. Super, Carl Ckrlson
and Wayne Gageby; and the following voted against the same; bone;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
Motion by Carl Carlson and seconded by Wayne Gageby to
approve the minutes of the Special meeting of November 17, 1959 as record+edd.
Motion carried.
Motion by Carl Carlson and second y Wayne Gazeby to adJourn.
