HomeMy WebLinkAbout1959 03-17 CCM Special Session 11 1 Minutes of the proceeding of the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center in the County of Hennepin and State of Minne M arc h 17, 1959 The Village Council met in special session and was called to order by William N. Super., Mayor, at 8:10 P.M. Roll Call: William N. Super, Cirl Carlson, Wayne Gageby and Russ Jones were present, and Clifford Wellman was absent. Member Russ Jones introduced the following Ordin and upon recommendation of the Planning Commission moved its adoption: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 35-713 OF THE VILLAGE ORDINANCES TO REZONE CERTAIN PRC PERTX THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF BROOKLYN CERTER DO ORDAIN: 1. Section 35 -713 of the village ordinances is hereby amended by adding the following thereto: The North 225 feet of the West one -half of Lot 57, Auditor's Subdivision No. 218, except road. 2. This ordinance shall be effective from and after its publication. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Ordinance was duly seconded by ow voted u v bean following 4 member Carl Carlson and upon vote g taken thereon the foll in favor thereof: William N. Super, Carl Carlson, Wayne Gageby and Russ Jones; and the following voted against the same; None; whereupon said Ordinance was declared duly passed and adopted. Motion by Russ Jones and seconded by Carl Carlson that the Council uphold the recommendation of the Planning Commission to approve the proposed construction of an office building on the property described in the above Ordinance upon compliance with the following conditions: (1) Set back may be 25' from Highway #100. (2) Two 25' driveway openings are permitted on Knox Avenue as shown on the sketch filed in the village office. (3) A 20 landscape buffer shall be constructed along the property lines of 5825 Xw Avenue North. (4) An agreement shall be entered into between Mr. F. Ce Peterson and Mr. Manderfield as to the type of fence to be installed on the landscape buffer. Motion carried. Motion by Russ Jones and seconded by Carl Carlson to adjourn. Motion carried. WOW
