Super Mayor; at 7 :00 P.M. The following members were present: William N. Super, Wayne Gageby, Clifford Welln, Allen Lindman and Russ Jones. The minutes of the-regular meeting of February 14 were approved except on Page 3, second paragraph from the bottom of the page, the motion is corrected hereby as follows: "Motion made by Wayne Gaseby and seconded by Clifford Wellman to compenwae Kenneth Bull in the amount of $400,AO for supervision of recreation.. Motes ,carried." Notion j carried. Motion made by Wayne Gageby and seconded by Clifford Wellman to authorize Village Engineer to prepare specifications and advertise for bids on street oil and gravel. Motion carried. Motion made by Allen Lindman and seconded by W G&VbY that the Camden Northwestern State Bank shall create a new bank account to be known as 1956 -A Fund. All mfrs voting in favor of this motion, motion carried. Motion soft by Russ Jones and seconded by Allen LIndMn to temararily transfer $15,000.00 from Storm Seweir #1 P=d to set up the 1956 - Fund, said amount to be returned when the 1956 Bond Issue is sold. Motion cried. Motion amide by Wayne Gapby and seeerteeded by Clifford W II=m to accept a final plat of eny's 2nd Additicm, sub jest to all the restrictions of the PUtUng Ordinance, and the Mayor and Clerk authorized to sign the some., band to be posted. Motion carried. Motion made by Wayne Gageby and seconded by Russ Jones that a public hearing be held on March 12, at 8:00 P.M., at the Earle Brown School to acquaint the peopit with the Water Referendum Election to be held March 20. Motion died. Motion carried. Motion made by Allen Lindy an and seconded by Clifford Wellman to accept application for Cab License from Wallace Nylen, d.b.a. Brooklyn Center Cab Service, and that Lob Licaw be approved and issued to said Wallace Nylon, dib.a. Brooklyn Center Cab Service, subject to all the provisions of the Taxicab ordinance, potion carried. Motion made by Allen Landman to edit the Village or Brooklyn Center to make the following improvements in accordance with the resolution heretofore iftntiried as Improvement Commitments for VA Loan Purposes. Jones and Seconded by WRYW Gageby to hire another girl for the Village office, and that Art Lee be authorized to supervise the interviewing of applicants. Motion carried. C .Motion made by Allen Lindman and seconded by W"m Gageby to advertise for bids on a new 1955 or 1956 pickup truck., a tar kettle: and a mower attachment for the tractor, the Village Engineer to prepare specifications for the foregoing items, bid date to be left open, the money to pay for said items to be a permanent transfer fres Liquor Store. Motion carried. Notion made by 'Blayne Gsgeby and seconded by Clifford Wellman to authorizer chase of the following items: Office desk and chair similar to those now in the office; new typewriter, new adding machine, Ditto machine, floor cleaning machine, Line -A -Time. Motion carried. Motion made by Wayne Gageby and seconded by H. R. Jones to retain Robert Cahlander &a a permanent full time truck drive, retroactive to January 1, 1956. Motion carried. Jones to authorize physical exudnations for all members of the Brooklyn Center Fire Department. Motion carried.
