Seer, Mayor, at 8 :00 P.M. The folic sing members were present: William N. Suter, Wayne G-%geby, Clifford ifel.lmn, Allen Li nlrisn and Russ Jones. Mutiun :scale by Clifford Wellman and seconded by Wayne Gageby to execute Lease between Board of Regents - University of Minnesota, Lescor, and Village of Brooklyn Center, Leasee,tbe property involved being describeu generally as follows: That part of Lot 63, Auditor's Subdivision 218, bounded on the Northwest by Highway 100, on the East by Humboldt Avenue North and on the South by 59th Avenue North, for the purpose of constructing, maintaining and operating a public recreation field, from the 15th day of March, 1956 to the 15th day of March, 1957• Motion carried. Motion made by Allen Lindman and seconded by Clifford Wellman to accept the Petition presented by M. C. Balfany for sanitary sewer, 55th Avenue North from France Avenue to Sailor Lane. Motion carried. Motion wade by Clifford Wellman and seconded by Wayne Gageby to accept the final plat of Garden City lot Addition, subject to all the restrictions of the Platting Ordinance, and the Mayor and Clerk authorised to sign the same. Moved further that a satisfactory agreement be executed between Winston Bros. Company and the Village of Brooklyn Center relative to the Park Improvement below 63rd Avenue North, and that proper conveyance of the land involved be made by the University of Minnesota to the Village; that bond be posted in the amount of $30,200. 00 to cover gr ading ,, gr avelin g and oil stabilizing of all streets within the boundaries of the aforementioned plat, and bond in the amount of $2,000.00 covering Park Area. Motion carried. Member Wayne Gageby introduced thi following resolution and saved its adoption: RFSOLUT:ON ACCEP"_'ING BID AND APPROVING CONTRACT FM BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Cotpeii of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Lametti & Sons, Inc. as to tbR furnishing of all work, labor and material in connection with Storm Sewer Improvement No. 1956.13 according to the plans and specifications therefor now on file in the office of the Village Clerk is deemed to be the lowest and best bid submitted for said work by a responsible bidder, and said bid is hereby accepted. BB FP F(rTMR RRSMVF,D that the form of contract proposed for execution between the Village and Lametti & Sons, Inc. is approved, and the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the ease on behalf of the Village upon the filing with the Village Clark of a bond with an approved corporate surety in the amount of $159,T66.3o conditioned for the faithful perform ace of said contract, completion date to be July 1, 1956. The notion for the adoption or the foregoing resolution was duly eveanded by member Allen Lindmn, and upon vote being taken thereon the following vod in favor thereof : William N. Super, Wayne Gageby, Clifford Wellman,, ADAn Lindman and Russ Jones; and the following voted Winst the same: None; whereupon said resolution, was declared duly passed and adopted. Soper, Wayne t ageby, Clifford "Wellman, Allen Lindnan, and Russ Jones; and the following voted Against the same; Done; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. Motion made by Clifford Wellman and seconded by Allen Lindman to ad3ourn. Motion carried. Now 7 r I
