RESOLUTION TAM .M MRIM ANION ON WDS BE IT RESOLVED by the Villag* Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota tb&t further action on the bid received for Two -Way Radio for Dire Radio Service be tabled for further examination and study by the Village Couneil. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Clifford Wellman,, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: William N. Super, Wayne Gageby, Allen Lindman, Clifford Wellman and Russ Jones; and the following voted against same: None; wh*reupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adoptl- yor announced that tft vAtting was open for consideration of a proposed improvement in the V111W aoasisting of the following: I Construction of Sanitary 9brer Laterals on 66 Avenue and its extension from Osseo Road to Chowen Avenue North The Cleft produced on si ndavit of publication of notice of hearing on the proposed improvement stowing two weeks' publications thereof in the official newspaper., the last publication being on April 12, 1956, which affidavit was examined and found satisfactory and ordered placed on file. Motion made by Allen Lindman and seconded by Clifford WellaRn to uphold the recommendation of the Planning Commission relative to special permits on covimercial and industrial buildings which may be applied for between now and the time the foregoing survey is completed. Motion carried. Motion made by Russ Jones and seconded by Allen LWA&n tO authorize the outlay of moneys to defray expenses , of delegates to the Convention Of the League of Minnesder Municipalities to be held June 13, 14 and 15, said delegates to be named at a later date. Motion carried. Motion =As by Wayne Gageby and seconded by Clifford Wellman to authorize the purchase of one hundred badges at $2.30 each for Civil Defense. Motion carried. The first paragraph of Section 3 -301 (b) is amended to reed as #+ Uows : (b) ftUM&tions and 'Walls • Walls, masonry exterior foundation and party walls shall be at least twelve (12") inches In thickness below the first st4*y of any building, provided, however, that foundation walls in private dwelling houses may be made Tess than twelve (12 inches its thickness but in no case less than eight (p") inebes in thickness, provided such wails do not extend below grade more than Four (4') feet eight (8 ") inches or if strengthened by buttresses or piers not lose than sixteen inches by sixteen inches (16" x 16 11 ) tied in at least every ten (10 ") feet.
