The Village Council abet in regular session and was called to order
by William N. Super, Mayor, at 8lOO P.M.
The following members were present: Wi. am N. Super, Clifford
^Iellman, Allen Lindman, Russ Jones, and Wayne Gageby.
Member Allen Lindman introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption;
RESOLUTION PROVIDING li Tt PUBTZC HEARING
ON A PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT
VMEEREAS, a petition of a property owner has been filed in the
office of the village clerk for the construction of a proposed
improvement consisting of the followdng=
Construction of storm sewer in the area bounded by the following
described linen
Commencing at the intersection of 64th Avenue North and Major
Avenue North-
. ,.thence Easterly approximately 490 feet to the
extension of the back lot line of Block 2, Millers Northview
Heights; thence Northerly approximately 100 feet to the North
lot line of tot 8, Block 2, Millers Northview Heights, thence

Gardens; thence Westerly and parallel to 63rd Avenue North to
the centerline of Major Avenue North; thence Northerly along the
centerline of Major Avenue North to the point of beginning,
and Lots 4, 5 and $,. Block 3, La wnridge Addition,
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer bee made a preliminary report
advising that said proposed ieprovement is feasible and that it
can be constructed at an estimated cost of $84,000.00,
NOW, TMaWOPZp $E IT RESMVED by the Village Council Of the
Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows:
i. The council proposes to proceed under authority granted
by Chapter 398, Laws of Minnesota, 1953•
2. A public hearing an the proposed improvement shall be
held at the 'Villa Hall in the Villag on Tuesday 9th day of

October, 1956, at °8 :0o p.m., and the clerk shall publish noti of
the time and place of hearing by two weeks publication in the
official newspaper of the Village.
3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is
as follows:
All lots and parcels of land within the above des ^ribed
property.

whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
Member Russ Jones introduced the following' resolution and moved its
adoption=
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON
A PROPOSED IMPROV&QW
WSMFAS, it is proposed that an improvement be made consisting of
the followings
Construction of a storm sewer in the area bounded by the
following described line:
Commencing on the north Village line at itof intersection
with the westerly high water line of Palmer Lake; thence
southerly along the western shore line of Palmer Lake to
69th Avenue North; thence easterly along 69th Avenue to
Zenith Avenue; thence south along Zenith to 68th Avenue
extended; thence westerly along 68th Avenue to a point
midway between Ewing and France Avenues; thence southerly
parallel France to 67th Avene; thence westerly along 67th
Avenue to Osseo Road; thence northwesterly along Osseo
Road to 69th Avenue; thence westerly along 69th Avenue
to a point 450 feet west _of, the east line of Section 28,.
T -119, R -21; thence northerly parallel said section line
to Osseo Road; thence southeasterly along Osseo Road to
County Road No. 46; thence northerly along County Road
No. 46 to the north Village; line; thence ea along
said Village line to the point of beginning.
WHEREA the Village Engineer has made a preliminary report advising
that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be
constructed at an estimated cost of $144,000.40,
NOW, T SWORE.. BE IT RESOLVED by the 'Village Council of the Villav
of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The council proposes to proceed under authhri.ty granted by

of October, 1956, at 8 :00 o'clock p.m., and the clerk shall
publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks
publication in the official newspaper of the Village.
3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is
as follows

described property.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by member Wayne Gageby, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: William N. Super, Allen Lindman, Wayne Gageby,
Cliffm Wellman, and Russ Jones; and the following voted against the saw:
None; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
The bills set forth on the schedule attached to these minutes and
made a part hereof entitled "The Bills Audited and ordered Paid at the
meeting of September k, 1956" were audited and orderad paid.
Motion made by Allen Lindman and secon c Clifford Wellman to
adjourn. Motion carried.
