HomeMy WebLinkAbout1957 04-23 CCM Regular Session Minutes of the proceeding of the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center in the County of Hennepin and State of Minnesota, including all accounts audited by said Council April 23 1957 The Village Council met in regular session and was called to order by William N. Super, Mayor, at 8:25 o'clock p.m. Roll Call: William N. Super, Clifford Wellman, Wayne Gageby, Carl Carrlson, and Russ Jones were present. Member Russ Jones introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of General Electric, as to the furnishing of radio equipment, as to specifications, for $3,025.00 is deemed to be the lowest andbest bid submitted by a responsible bidder, and said bid is hereby accepted. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Clifford Wellman, and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: William N. Super, Clifford Wellman, Carl Carlson, Wayne Gageby, and Russ Jones; and the following voted against the same: None; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. Member Wayne Gageby introduced the following ordinance and moved its adoption: AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE !, OPERATION OF BOATS AND WATERCRAFT The motion for the adoption of the foregoing ordinance was duly seconded by member Carl Carlson, and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: William N. Super, Clifford Wellman, Carl Carlson, Wayne Cavby, and Russ Jones; and the following voted against the same: None; where safd.ordi ►ce was declared duly passed and adopted. Nation made by Carl Carlson and seconded by Wayne Gageby that the Village Council accept the auditor's report, from Hanley, Zimmerman, and Moen, for the year ending December 31, 1956 Motion carried. Motion made by Clifford Wellman and seconded by Wayne Gageby to adjourn.
