Disposition Item 6 Authorize appropriation of unclaimed property Unclaimed property consistiri oe recovered in the Twin Lake vicinity has been held since May 1972 Efforts to ascertain ownership of the canoe have been unsuccess ul . It Is, therefore recommended that the City Council authorise the appropriation of the craft for City purposes according to the provisions of Chapter 2 of the City Ordinances. It is intended that the craft will be used in a water safety course at the Civic Center. Such a Craft was requested and not a r aven t e k budget. Despite the fact that use are contesting the SAC concept in court, it is necessary that we be42m developing the administrative machinery to collect the charge after, Jaiauary x . It is not likely that the matter will be determined in toghl finality until sometime after January 1. Dispftitidn .�, ._..+. ._.. ...�`_ Item 9b Resolution Amending 3rooklyn Center Comprehensive Sewer Plans One of the -first requirements of the Metropolitan Sewer Board after its formation was to require Compreheifsi,ve Sanitary Fewer Plans from each community in the metro area, Brooklyn Center!$ plan was developed and submitted many months ago. Vince that time the Director of Public Alorks finds it necessary Ito recommend certain minor amendments to the Comprehensive* Sewer Plan. The attached resolution is intended to implement the proposed amendrsents. Disposition ....,. Item 9e Resolutions Amending 1973 Tax Levy A proposal was lntroduded November 6, 1972 with the intention of reducing the 1973 property tax levy in the amount, by which that levy, exceeded the levy limitations. The proposal further compre- h6ndod that the amoint of the redaction be ;`.replaced in the 1973 budget by Revenue Sharing Rinds.
