TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Please take notice that the Planning Commission of the City of Brooklyn Center will hold a public
hearing on Thursday July 14, 2011 at approximately 7:00 p.m., at the City Hall, 6301 Shingle Creek
Parkway to consider the petition described below:
TYPE OF REQUEST: PUD Amendment
PETITIONER: Sears, Roebuck and Company
PROPERTY NAMED IN THE PETITION: 1297 Brookdale Center
Legal Description: Tract A, Registered Land Survey No. 936, Hennepin County, Minnesota
BRIEF STATEMENT OF CONTENTS OF PETITION:
PUD Amendment for the 1999 Brookdale Mall Planned Unit Development, by incorporating the same
development standards approved under the 2011 Shingle Creek Crossing Planned Unit Development.
These standards are memorialized in City Resolution No. 2011 -77, which is on file with the City of
Brooklyn Center or can be accessed on the City's Website at www.cityofbrooklyncenter.org.
Auxiliary aids for persons with disabilities are available upon request at least 96 hours in advance. Please
contact the City Clerk at 763 -569 -3300 to make arrangements.

ON PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENT
CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER
Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held by the Planning Commission of the
City of Brooklyn Center on the 14th of July, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the City Hall, 6301 Shingle
Creek Parkway, to consider a proposed Planned Unit Development Amendment for the property
described as follows:
Tract A, Registered Land Survey No. 936, Hennepin County, Minnesota
This property is more commonly described as 1297 Brookdale Center.
Said proposed Planned Unit Development application has been submitted by Sears,
Roebuck and Company for an amendment to the 1999 Brookdale Mall Planned Unit Development,
by incorporating the same development standards approved under the 2011 Shingle Creek Crossing
Planned Unit Development. These standards are memorialized in City Resolution No. 2011 -77,
which is on file with the City of Brooklyn Center or can be accessed on the City's Website at
www.cityofbrooklyncenter.org.

Please take notice that the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center at its meeting on Monday,
September 12, 2011 will consider the petition described below. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m.
in the City Hall Council Chambers, 6301 Shingle Creek Parkway. A definite time for this petition to
be considered cannot be given as it will depend on the progression of the agenda items.
