CITY MANAGER'S COMMENTS Item 4a Approving Tax Delinquency List The attached resolution is recommended for the ose of authorizing pucp uth zing the County to sell properties for non - payment of 1966 and subsequent real estate taxes. The Director of Public Works will be prepared Monday evening to illustrate the properties. Disposition Item 4b Designating City Depository The attached resolution is recommended for the purpose of designating Home Federal Savings & Loan Association as a depository of City funds Such designation will provide us- additional opportunity to earn interest on daily cash operating balances. Disposition Item 4c Amending 1975 Budget The attached resolution is recommended for the purpose of acknowledg- ing receipt of $540 from the Suburban Recreation Association and in- creasing the budgetary Detached Worker appropriation by such amount. Disposition Item 5e Shingle Creek Watershed Study The Director of Public Works will be prepared to report Monday evening on the main features of the Shingle Greek Watershed Study conducted on behalf of those municipalities in the Shingle Creek Watershed. l - Disposition r Item 5b Liquor Suit Report t We will be prepared Monday evening to brief the Council on the out - come of the antitrust lawsuit against liquor wholesalers in the State of Minnesota ! RESOLUTION APPROVING CLASSIFICATION LIST x'647 -C" WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Centers has received from the County of Hennepin, a list of lands in said City which became the property of the State of Minnesota, for non - payment of 1966 Real Estate Taxes, which said list has been designated as Classification List 09 6+7 -C ", and N WHEREAS, each parcel of land described 4 , said list has.. ' heretofore been classified by the Board of'County Commissioners of Hennepin County, Minnesota -as non - conservation land and -the sale ` thereof has heretofore been authorized by said Board of County Commissioners NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL'V'ED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, acting pursuant to Minnesota Statute 262 I. the said classification by said Board of County Commissioners of each parcel of land described in said ,.list as non- conservation land be and the same is hereby approved, and that the sale of e4ch such parcel of land be and the same is hereby approved.
