F �' CITY MANAGER'S COMMENTS Item Sa Authorizing Amended joint Health Department Agreement The attached resolution is intended to amend by superseding the existing joint powers agreement providing for a common health department for Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park and Crystal. The purpose for emending it is to build into the cost allocation formula the costs of nonlicensed inspectional services such as responses to garbage complaints, animal complaints, weed Complaints, etc. R Disposition Item 5b Opposing Senate File No. 939 The attached draft resolution is offered for the purpose of expressing strong opposition to the concepts embodied in Senate File Noe 939. Disposition, Item 5c Urging Metro -wide Equalization of Property Assessments The attached draft resolution is offered for the purpose of achieving equity for Brooklyn Center residents as citizens of " Hennepin County who, by virtue of lower assessment levels in other metropolitan counties, are subsidizing metro -wide property tax levies to support metropolitan -wide agencies and related E. activities.
