Discussion ltems Housing Maintenance Code j b Liquor Stage Sian Goo Licenses 10 Adjournment 1 CITY MANAGER'S COMMENTS Item 5 Establish Board of Equalization Meeting Section 7.04 of the City Charter provides that the City Council shall constitute a Board of Equalization to equalize assessments of property for taxation purposes. This is an annual obligation. It is recommended that the Council establish June 9, 1975, 7:30 p.m as the date and time .for the Board of Equalization meeting. Disposition Item 6a Awarding Bid for Concrete Pipes The attached resolution is recommended for the purpose of awarding bid for concrete pipe needs. Disposition Item 6b Establishing Improvement Project No. 1975 -1 The attached resolution is recommended for the purpose of establishing Alley Paving Improvement No. 1975 -1 in response to a majority petition submitted by affected property owners. Disposstion Item 6c Establishing Improvement Project No. 1975 -2 The attached resolution is recommended for the purpose of establishing Alley Paving' Improvement No. 1975 -2 in response to a majority petition submitted by affected property owners. Disposition Item 6d Adopting Alley Paving Policy The attached resolution is recommended for the purpose of formally adopting the alley paving policy earlier presented to the Council by the Director of Public Works. Disposition City Manager's Comments Page 2 Item 8a Housing Maintenance Code A number of proposed changes to the Housing Maintenance and Occupancy Code were referred to the Housing Commission for review and comment. The Commission has had an opportunity to hear and consider the proposals on April 16 and 29,and a staff memorandum has been prepared for consideration by the Commission and the City Council. It is recommended that the Council review the proposed changes and order implementation of those which will have the effect of improving the adopted ordinance Disposition Item 8b Liquor Store Sign I will be prepared Monday evening to discuss a signing proposal for the Brooklyn Boulevard Municipal Liquor Store..
