Item 5 Authorize Release of Site Performance Bond Work on the Lemon Tree Restaurant parking lot along Xerxes Avenue has been completed. 'It is recommended that the Council authorize release of the site performance bond posted to guarantee such work. Disposition Item 6 Authorize Animal Control Contract Pursuant to discussions at the last Council meeting regarding changes in animal control services, I will be prepared Monday evening to recommend that the Council authorize a new animal control contract with Metropolitan Animal Patrol Service, Inc, Disposition f Item 7a Authorizing Issuance of Temporary Improvement Notes The attached resolution is recommended for the purpose of authorizing the issuance of temporary improvement notes to provide interim financing for public improvement projects. Disposition Item Ili Authorizing Advertisement for Bids The attached resolution is recommended for the purpose of authorizing - bids to be taken for water tower maintenance Project No. 1975 -5. i The project consists of cleaning and painting the exterior and interior of the elevated storage tank at 69th and France Avenue North. Disposition Item 7c thru 7r Accepting Work for Improvement Projects The attached resolutions are recommended for the purpose of formally accepting work associated with various improvement projects which have been successfully completed, _ Disposition 4 City Manager's Comments Page 2 Item 9a Amending Chapters 4 g pEers 3 and 35 Regarding Definition of Family The attached ordinance was first read on June 23. published on July 3 and is offered this evening for second reading and adoptions Disposition Item 10a Chamber of Commerce Request The Brooklyn Center Chamber of Commerce has adopted a resolution requesting that the City of Brooklyn Park complete acquisition of Palmer Lake Basin and requesting that Brooklyn Center and Brooklyn Park plan the Palmer Lake Basin in more detail in an effort to obtain any available federal and state funds. ,I will be prepared Monday evening to further discuss the matter.
