ON PROPOSED PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT /REZONING
CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER
Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held by the Planning Commission of the
City of Brooklyn Center on the 31 st of January, 2002 at 7:30 p.m. at the Brooklyn Center West
Fire Station, 6250 Brooklyn Boulevard, to consider the proposed Planned Unit
Development/Rezoning for the property described as follows:
The north 110 feet of that part of Lot 35, Auditor's Subdivision No. 218, Hennepin
County, Minnesota, lying East of the West line of the East 1/8 of the Northwest 1 /4 of the
Southeast 1 /4, Section 2, Township 118, Range 21, according to the plat thereof on file or of
record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for said County.

And
Tract D, Registered Land Survey No. 114, Files of the Registrar of Titles, Hennepin
County, Minnesota.

This property is more commonly described as 1901 57th Avenue North, 5649 Logan
Avenue North and part of 1915 57 Avenue North
Said proposed rezoning has been submitted by Marathon Ashland Petroleum for Planned
Unit Development (PUD) rezoning from C -2 (Commerce) to PUD /C -2 (Planned Unit
Development /Commerce) and Site and Building Plan approval for the redesign and expansion of
the Super America Convenience Store /Gasoline Station at the southwest corner of 57 and
Logan Avenues North.

expansion of the Super America Convenience Store /Gasoline Station at the southwest corner of 57

Please take notice that the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center at its meeting on Monday,
February 11, 2002 will consider the petition described below. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. at
the West Fire Station, 6250 Brooklyn Boulevard. A definite time for this petition to be considered
cannot be given as it will depend on the progression of the agenda items.
