NOTICE OF HEARING
ON PROPOSED PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT /REZONING
CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER
Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held by the Planning Commission of the
City of Brooklyn Center on the 30th of May, 2002 at 7:30 p.m. at the West Fire Station, 6250
Brooklyn Boulevard, to consider the proposed Planned Unit Development/Rezoning for the
property described as follows:

the west by Brooklyn Boulevard right of way; bounded on the north by 70 Avenue North
right of way; and bounded on the east by a line lying 150' east of the June Avenue North
right of way between 70 Avenue on the north and 69 Avenue on the south.
Said proposed Planned Unit Development/Rezoning has been submitted by Westbrook
Development for rezoning from C -2 (Commerce) and R -1 (One Family Residence) to PUD /C -2
(Planned Unit Development /Commerce) and site and building plan approval for modifications to
a new commercial retail development.

Please take notice that the Planning Commission of the City of Brooklyn Center will hold a public
hearing on Thursday, May 30, 2002 at approximately 7:30 p.m., at the West Fire Station, 6250
Brooklyn Boulevard, to consider the petition described below:
TYPE OF REQUEST: Planned Unit Development/Rezoning and Site & Building Plan
Approval
PETITIONER: Westbrook Development, Inc.
PROPERTY NAMED IN THE PETITION: Northeast Quadrant of 69th Avenue and
Brooklyn Boulevard
BRIEF STATEMENT OF CONTENTS OF PETITION:
Request for a Planned Unit Development/Rezoning and Site and Building Plan approval for
modifications to a new commercial retail development consisting of four buiidings.
Auxiliary aids for persons with disabilities are available upon request at least 96 hours in advance.

Please take notice that the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center at its meeting on Monday,
June 10, 2002 will consider the petition described below. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the
West Fire Station, 6250 Brooklyn Boulevard. A definite time for this petition to be considered
cannot be given as it will depend on the progression of the agenda items.
