HomeMy WebLinkAbout1997 06-17 EBDM Earle Brown Days Meeting Minute June 17, 1997 PRESENT: Kuefler, Zastrow, Dorff, Ditty, Roen, Graham, Milton, LaFond, Bergeland, Youngberg and LaCrosse. The meeting was called to order at 7:34 a.m. by Dorff. FINANCIAL REPORT : Zastrow reported a financial balance of $10,625.27 in checking and $7,500 in a CD as of June 17, 1997. Arts & Crafts Fair: Milton said she has two volunteers for each shift on Saturday afternoon and all day on Sunday. Car Show: No report. Finance: No report. Ice Cream Social: LaFond said she is working on an agenda. Junior Ambassadors need about 10-15 minutes and the children will start the ice cream line. Junior Ambassador: Graham said the candidate activities have begun with the first judging tomorrow. It is the 10th anniversary of the program. On Sunday, they will have a picnic. They are working on a yearbook of past royalty. On Monday, they will have their dinner at Bridgemans. The final judging event is on Friday.  Kids Fishing Contest: All Set. Parade: Ditty said he needs volunteers. Picnic/Games: Dorff said the picnic/games is set. Publicity: LaCrosse said the ads are out and we can put up flags and signs up in front of the community center. It was decided this would be done after the meeting next week. Henry will set up the display at the A Day At The Farm. Motion carried. Dorff said he has $1303.50 in donations so far. 10K & 2 Mile: Youngberg said she needs a couple of volunteers. A Day At The Farm: Kuefler said they will have both helicopters. They are very close on the hay rides. The quiz is done. Bergeland said they have done a dry run on the tours.
