Meeting Minute
June 24, 1997
PRESENT:
Kuefler, Zastrow, Dorff, Ditty, Roen, Graham, Cohen, Holcomb, LaFond, Bergeland,
Youngberg and LaCrosse. The meeting was called to order at 7:31 a.m. by Dorff.
FINANCIAL REPORT
: Zastrow reported a financial balance of $9,305.81 in checking and $7,500
in a CD as of June 17, 1997.
Arts & Crafts Fair:
Holcomb said there was a problem with the post office in delivering the
confirmation notices. She has 56 regular booths and 2 - booths. One whole booth is on hold. Next
year she can expand.
Car Show:
Bergeland said the sign is missing the C on Classic. LaCrosse said she will tell Nerburn.
LaCrosse said the sign cost about $93.
Finance:
Cohen said they have $4,150.
Ice Cream Social:
LaFond said agenda is all set. She will coordinate with maintenance and
public safety. The community band will perform first and then the square dance demonstrations.
Junior Ambassador:
The 1996-97 junior ambassador children introduced themselves.
Payment of bills:

There was a motion by Cohen, seconded by Ditty to approve payment of the bills. Motion carried.
Kids Fishing Contest:
All Set.

Parade:
Ditty said he would like two more signs made for the 1997 Earle Brown Days festival
committee and for the special guest.
Picnic/Games:
Dorff said they will give out 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place prices. He has approximately 8
or 9 Rotarians helping but could use about 3 more volunteers.
Publicity:
Cohen said WCCO is hitting every morning.
10K & 2 Mile:
Youngberg said registration is down but they are going for it.
A Day At The Farm:
Kuefler said everything went well. He added it may become an annual event. The
hayride was the high point.
Safety Day:
No Report.
OLD BUSINESS:
Graham said she would like to thank the committee for 10 years of sponsorship.
The committee also thanked Graham for her hard work over those 10 years.
