Kids Fishing Contest:
LaCrosse said Brookpark Dental wants to come back. We had about the
same number of kids. The ice cream tickets went over very big. She said the only problem was the two

No report.
Picnic/Games:
Dorff said they had a good turnout
Publicity:
LaCrosse said she received good comments about the publicity. However, there
was not a very good turnout at the arts & crafts fair. LaFond said Brookdales shows are put on by
Gingerbread. They have the advantage of advertising at all of their shows throughout the year.
Sunday In Central Park:
LaCrosse said everything went well. She said she noticed that the Target
in Maple Grove was sponsoring their fireworks. Plymouths fireworks are also sponsored by Target.
Arnie would still like our Target to give a donation.
1
10K/2 mi. Walk:
Youngberg said there were about 65 people. They sent out the prize money.
There were four sets of prizes. She would like to revise the door prize drawing next year by having the
drawing during the race. They would post the winners and participants could pick up their prize when
they returned to the start line. There was a slight increase this year. The letter is ready to go out to
Health Partners asking them to sponsor next years event. They had runners from everywhere.
Year 2000:
Cohen said the council wants to do something. In other words, they said yes in concept
