Publicity:
Sue LaCrosse said people have heard the announcements on a couple radio stations. She
met with a representative from Radio Disney and said we should maybe consider booking their van next
year. It is expensive but maybe we could use some of our advertising money and get an additional
sponsor. The tabloid in the Sun Post was not very good, but Sarah Schwartz did a great job with her
article. This may be something we would want to look into next year. Many of the businesses in last
year’s tabloid did not even receive a phone call to put in an ad this year.
Sue LaCrosse said the Police Department is having an event on Sunday, July 31 from 2-6:00 p.m. called
National Night Kickoff. Their theme is diversity. The committee decided we would have a booth.
