CRAFT & BUSINESS EXPO: Sue LaCrosse said there was an exhibitor driving on the trail about 9:30 p.m. The police office said she looked disoriented and did not seem to notice there were people around. We need to stress to the exhibitors they can’t do this. She said there were no door prizes for this event. If we are not going to have door prizes, we shouldn’t have people fill out the slips. She said the email she received from Joy Reinhart said the exhibitors would like more foot traffic. DUNKIN BIRTHDAY PARTY : Sue LaCrosse said she would like to shorten the time by ½ hour and serve cake at the same time the hotdogs and chips are served. FACE PAINTING: It helped to have two face painters. FAMILY FUN & GAMES: Phil Cohen said there was a good cross section of demographics. People like getting something for free. Don’t advertise an ending time for this event. HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL: Very disappointing. HONOR THE VETERANS: Phil Cohen said this went better than expected thanks to Mike Meyer and Myrna Kragness. It was a slow sell. Duoos supplied the flags. He would like to present the VFW and the Legion with framed certificates. ICE CREAM SOCIAL: It looked like it was successful. They had long lines for the ice cream. KID’S FISHING CONTEST: Went really good. Lots of fish were caught. MAGIC SHOW : Good. There was a good crowd. He had to take the banner volunteers to the bands the night of the parade, taking him away from other things. He dropped off the trophies ahead of time to a Lion’s member who lives by Evergreen.
