Other things the Centennial committee talked about include cultural dance, presentations, taste of BC, and art shows. Joy Reinhart suggested 3 Options 1) Run Monday – Saturday Music in the park – Mon-Wed & Friday (kids band on Friday.) Parade Thursday Dunkin’s Party & Music in Park – Friday Saturday evening - bigger group Honor the Veterans 2)Run Thursday – Saturday enhanced Parade on Thursday Fire station open house – Friday PM Dunkin’s Party Midnight Breeze Friday PM Saturday evening bigger band name attraction Honor the Vets 1 3)Run Thursday – Saturday – no change Other ideas included: skip Monday completely and start on Tuesday. Tuesday – Rockin’ Hollywoods, senior event with senior coronation, treasure hunt with Historical Society. Wednesday – car show, check with Luther Auto & Oak City, idol contest, BC’s Got Talent, Taste of BC, cultural night (ethnic foods along with the cultural entertainment and style show).
