HomeMy WebLinkAbout2010 06-22 EBDM Earle Brown Days Meeting Minutes June 22, 2010 PRESENT: Joy Reinhart, Mike Meyer, Cathy Ballot, Phil Cohen, and Sue LaCrosse. Joy Reinhart called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: There was a motion by Cathy Ballot, seconded by Mike Meyer to approve the minutes of the June 15, 2010 meeting. Motion carried. TREASURER’S REPORT: Cathy Ballot reported a balance of $19,209.88 in checking. BUDGET/FINANCE: Not much has changed from the last meeting. CRAFT & BUSINESS EXPO: Joy Reinhart reported she received two new exhibitors. There will plenty of assistance from Rotary. Electrical outlet has been added for Moving Grounds. She will distribute an invitation to this year’s exhibitors and food vendors to apply for next year at a discount. DUNKIN THE DOLPHIN BIRTHDAY PARTY: All set. FACE PAINTING: No report. FAMILY FUN & GAMES: Sue has the two boxes which includes the tickets and water balloons. FIREWORKS: No report. GOLF TOURNAMENT: There is one foursome spot left at 11:30. HONOR OUR VETERANS: Phil Cohen said the schedule has been revised a little. It will be a nice program. KID’S FISHING CONTEST: Kevin Benner will make sure someone from the police department is there to help. MAGIC SHOW: No report. MIDNIGHT BREEZE: No report. PARADE ROUTE: Mike Meyer reported there are 90 units. He went to the surrounding businesses and gave them a letter. The committee will meet at Noon to pound in the stakes. Bremer Bank has dropped out of the parade. PUBLICITY: Mike Meyer put out the signs. Phil Cohen heard it advertised on WCCO radio. Cathy Ballot will do a live segment on Channel 12 on Thursday at the parade site. 1 NEW BUSINESS: Payment of bills. Mike Meyer $ 25 Water & rebar Powder Puff Clown Club $ 250 Paid Unit Midnight Breeze $1,200 Music Christopher Winter-Ritt $ 600 Magic Show There was a motion by Mike Meyer, seconded by Phil Cohen to pay the bills. Motion carried. There was a motion by Phil Cohen, seconded by Mike Meyer to give exhibitors tickets for donuts and coffee to be redeemed at Grannies, not to exceed $150.00. Motion carried.
