Program: Phil Cohen reported Dale Greenwald would provide his band. He has a following in the community. He will ask Joe Brough to provide the strolling musicians. Kay Lasman said Park Center has a fabulous drama department, which is nationally recognized. They have been invited to perform in Scotland next year. They are interested in doing a program from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor. It was recommended that rather than getting two schools for 15 minutes each, we invite Park Center to do 30 minutes. It was also suggested we pick a tentative date for 2004 and ask the Cooper Chamber Singers soon if they would be available to perform. Recognition of Organizations: Phil Cohen said there should be a clear definition of the guidelines for recognizing individuals from organizations at the Birthday Party. A sub-committee of Tony Kuefler, Baylon Loosbrock, and Ed Nelson was appointed to come up with criteria and guidelines for the awards. The committee chaired by Tony Kuefler will present a report at the December meeting. Dinner: Kay Lasman reported on prices for a sit down dinner and buffet. The prices for the least expensive sit down dinners are $26.33 and $27.58 including tax and gratuities. The cost for the buffet is $28.84 but you get a lot more food. There was one vote for buffet and the rest for a sit down dinner. It was decided we go for the chicken at a cost of $26.33. There will be a $100 charge for the bartender if we don’t meet the bar bill. Other Items: Phil Cohen said the other details, including the program, would be finalized at the December meeting. Then, publicity can be prepared for distribution right after Christmas. OTHER BUSINESS Sue Low reported on what is happening with the Chamber.
