minutes of October 19, 2006. Motion carried.
TREASURER’S REPORT
Baylon Loosbrock reported a balance of $598.89 in checking. Councilmember Lasman said the crime
prevention fund would probably not contribute this year. The prayer breakfast donation is
questionable. A $200 donation was added in for North Memorial. The pens cost $115.44 instead of
the $100 budgeted. A $10 fee was added for a coat rack for the school group. He reported that
based on his budget projections, we will be $250 short. This can be made up out of our reserves.
There was a motion by Phil Cohen, seconded by Sue Low to accept the budget with the discussed
revisions. Motion carried.
CIVIC GROUP INVOLVEMENT
Sue LaCrosse said the letters went out. The groups are talking about who they are going to
nominate.
THEME DEVELOPMENT
Done.
PROGRAM/ENTERTAINMENT
Councilmember Lasman said the coat rack has been ordered. She said the school group will be able
to use Midnight Breeze’s keyboard.
COMMITTEE ACTION/ACTIVITY SCHEDULE
Dale Greenwald will not be available this year, but the band will be there.
There was discussion on the distribution of awards. Some suggestions including having the
representative from the organization announce their recipient. Sue Low would still edit the material
sent in to keep each talk to about the same time. The committee will wait to see how many people
1
are nominated.
TABLE FAVORS
Phil Cohen got the pens. Sue Low was thinking of a bookmark this year instead of the notepads.
