TREASURER’S REPORT
Baylon Loosbrock reported a balance of $598.89 in checking. He will prepare a budget for 2007 and
present it at the November meeting. Dorothy Jacobson reported the Women’s Club has budgeted
$200 for the event.
CIVIC GROUP INVOLVEMENT
The committee reviewed the letter. A section about looking for donations needs to be added to the
letter. It was suggested we add that reserved spots are only available when reserving a whole table.
There was a motion by Dorothy Jacobson, seconded by Len Lasman to send out the letters with
changes. Motion carried.
SPECIAL EVENTS CIVIC AWARDS
The eagle has been selected as our award.
PROGRAM/ENTERTAINMENT
Councilmember Kay Lasman reported the Robbinsdale Cooper High School Chamber Singers are
available this year. It is a group of 24 singers performing mixed choral selections. They would like a
coat rack. The Heritage Center charges $10 for this. The committee thought it was a good idea for
them to have a separate coat rack. She will contact Dale Greenwald to see if they can use Midnight
Breeze’s keyboard. The exact time of their performance will be determined at the November
meeting.
Bayloon Loosbrock will video tape the event.
COMMITTEE ACTION/ACTIVITY SCHEDULE
The punch list will be reviewed at the November meeting. Sue LaCrosse said the invitation needs to
be adopted. She handed out three styles. The committee selected the invitation with the eagle on the
cover.
