TABLE FAVORS
Phil Cohen distributed samples of pens and pins. He said next month we need to make a decision on
what we want to order. Sue Low is working on notepads.
CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION
Phil Cohen reported that regardless whether there is a Centennial Committee or not, we will be
involved because of the birthday party. This committee started out as the Millennium committee
and became the birthday party committee. The hype for Centennial needs to start in 2010 so we
need to have some 2011 paraphernalia. He said the City Manager feels comfortable with us
moving along with it. If we could get 2-3 people, we could make a subcommittee. We have to
put together some type of budget and submit it to the City Manager. By November we need to
make a commitment. It was suggested we have at least one event each month.
THEME
There was a motion by Len Lasman, seconded by Dr. Orn to approve the theme for 2010 as 99 Years
& Counting. Motion carried. The theme for 2011 was tabled.
