ON REZONING
CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER
Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held by the Planning Commission of the
City of Brooklyn Center on the 26th of January, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the City Hall, 6301 Shingle
Creek Parkway,to consider an amendment to the City of Brooklyn Center's 2030
Comprehensive Plan, for properties generally described as follows:
Lot 1, Block 1, Tennis Acres Two, Hennepin County, Minnesota(this property is more
commonly described as 4001 Lakebreeze Ave N.)
and
The remaining portion of Lot 1, Block 1, Dale and Davies Second Addition, Hennepin
County, Minnesota(which is a parcel lying easterly of the afore-described property and is
an excess right-of-way parcel acquired by MnDOT for the Highway 100 project)
The requested comprehensive plan amendment is to change the current "OS-Office/Service
Business" land use designation on the Lot 1, Block 1 Tennis Acres Two site to "I-Industrial" and
to change the current "Roadways" designation on the Lot 1, Block 1 Dale and Davies Second
Addition site to "I-Industrial".
This proposed land use amendment has been submitted by Paul Hyde of Real Estate Recycling
LLC.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Please take notice that the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center at its meeting on Monday,
February 13, 2012 will consider the petition described below. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. in
the City Hall Council Chambers, 6301 Shingle Creek Parkway. A definite time for this petition to
be considered cannot be given as it will depend on the progression of the agenda items.

BRIEF STATEMENT OF CONTENTS OF PETITION:
The requested comprehensive plan amendment is to change the current "OS-Office/Service
Business" land use designation on the above described parcels from "I-Industrial" and
"Roadways"to "Mixed Use OS/I—Office Service Business/Industrial".
Auxiliary aids for persons with disabilities are available upon request at least 96 hours in advance.
