RESOLUTION NO. 2012-125
RESOLUTION ADOPTING A PRELIMINARY BUDGET FOR THE
2013 FISCAL YEAR
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center is the
governing body of the City of Brooklyn Center; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes require that a preliminary budget be
adopted for funds using property tax revenues along with the adoption of the preliminary .
property tax levy; and
WHEREAS a preliminary property tax levy of $14 590 211 has been

proposed for adoption the basis for the budget proposed herewith.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center that the following amounts be adopted as the preliminary budget for
property tax supported funds appropriated as follows:

Sales Tax-Lodging Tax Gross Receipts 825,000
Licenses & Permits 640,477
Intergovernmental Revenues 1,057,250

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Lin Myszkowski
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Tim Willson, Carol Kleven, Kay Lasman, Lin Myszkowski, and Dan Ryan;
and the following voted against the same: none;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
