Call to order 5:00 p.m.
Present: Keith Lester, Brett Hildreth, Sharon Kephart, Margaret Sandberg, and Sue LaCrosse.
Keith Lester said he met with Phil Cohen and prior to the start of the Birthday Party, the Mayor
would be asked to read the City proclamation. If others attended, such as senators,
representatives, etc, they would read their proclamations at this time. Keith wrote a draft of a
proclamation which Sue LaCrosse will forward on.
Sharon Kephart displayed the heart information. Sue will send an email out to committee
members asking them to call the NHLBI at 301-592-8573 to request heart brochures and posters.
The items are free in limited quantities.
Food drive location suggestions included the UPS Store and National Night Out Kickoff in
Centennial Park.
Keith Lester said we could donate pens for the Birthday Party.
Brett Hildreth will contact the Historical Society to see if they have any events to be added to the
schedule of events.
Margaret Sandberg invited everyone to the annual CEAP toy breakfast on Saturday, December 4
at 9:00 a.m. at the Embassy.
