for the proposed subdivision,
The new lot would have a substandard width by 4 feet. There
is precedent for creation of buildable substandard lots in
• this area, and this deficiency is less than most.
The prime concern is thus ulith the method of subdivision
and description, not with the size ;of the resultant lot.

MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE
NORTHEAST NEIGHBORHOOD STUDY COMMISSION
The meeting of the Northeast Neighborhood Study Commission was held
at 6432 North Willow Lane, Brooklyn Center, Minnesota on April 11 , 1973.
Those present were Bill Hannay, Curt Danielson, Ron Boman, Doug Baker, and
Roger Scherer.
The matter concerning the Planning Commission Application #73004
submitted by Steven L. Boone Construction Company regarding construction
of 5 townhouse units on two lots (8 & 9) on the East side of Lyndale in the
7200 block was discussed. The discussion included the land use possibilities
and the feasibility of townhouses in the area. It was reported that the
neighbors in the area did not object. Comment was made that Steve Boone is
a reputable builder and a group of 5 townhouses seemed to be a very desireable
use of this land, It was unanimously decided to recommend the rezoning to
R-4 and approve the proposed townhouse development.
