The P18nning commission has asked that the West Central
Neighborhood Group be informed of a scheduled public hearing
of a rezoning requezt on September 6, 1973. The application
has been submitted by Hoitiedale Builders 41-3r. Norm Chazin) and
involves a 4 acre parcel at the Southwest quadrant of the
intersection of 't-94 and T.H. 152.
The land is currently zoned R-5 (2--3 story multi-
.4

A map of the area has been enclosed; the zoning is in-
dicated for properties other than single family dwelling
dist.rict "Pt-1) .
The applicant has indicated the intent to construct a
motel and restaurant on the site, if rezoning is approved.
The issue currently before the plann.-Lng Commission is -one of
_qeneralland use and rezo not one of specific site and
• building plan approval, hcywever.
Neighboring property owners within 250 feet of the parcel
will be sent written notice of the hearing.
It is eXpected that,, per established comnLission policy,
the matter will be referred to the West Central AdviSOZY Group
after the Septermber 6th hearing. observations and/or recom-
mendations may be made at that time.
The Conuaission felt the Advisory Group should -be informed
of the hearing, given the size, location and proposed zoning
of the property.
The meeting will be held i'n the City Hall council Chambers.
