No. 74041 Applicant:: HorYard Beggs Location: 6230 Colfax Avenue North Request: Special Use Permit The applii:!ant seeks per-mission to conduct a special home occupation which conaists of the manufacture of rubbdr stamps involving stock in trade and special equipment. The applicant contends there will be no retail sales except through delivery and mail. order~. The equipment would -occupy a aft. x 3ft. area in tie basement. A public leaning has been scheduled. Approval would be subject to the following: 1. Th•� use is subject to all applicable ordinance provisions and violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation of tha special use permit. 2. Retail sale of merchandise to the public on the premises is expressly prohibited. f r PLAIMING CObMSSION INFOMATION SHEET Application No. 74036 Applicants Brooklyn Center Developanent Corp. Location-. South of 69th Avenue North, North of 67th Avenue North, and South- easterly of Earle Brown Farm Apartments. Request: Rezoning The item was tabled at the July 11, 1374 meeting to permit review by the No: theast Neighborhood Advisory Croup, subsequent to additional land planning of the area. At this w:iting, the Advisory Group has not met formally: however, the chaffeiaan has indicated there appears to be no objection. A report from the group io e::pected by Thursday evening. The subject property was originally zoned 1-1, consistent with the Comprehen Ave Flan; the rezoning request is in order. Concerns generated by the application include: 1. Status of remaining R-5 land easterly of the Earle Brown Apartments. 2. platting of `che rezoned land as well as the remainder of th(a R--5 property. The entire property presently consists of two Outlots and vacated James Avenue. A preliminary plat has been submitted and is being reviewed as to layout and conformity with ordinance standards. Approval of the rezoning would note the compatibility with the Compreheni;ive Plan and would be :subject to the condition that the entire property be keplatted prior to any construction. •
