Apartments.
Request: Rezoning
The item was tabled at the July 11, 1374 meeting to permit review
by the No: theast Neighborhood Advisory Croup, subsequent to
additional land planning of the area.
At this w:iting, the Advisory Group has not met formally: however,
the chaffeiaan has indicated there appears to be no objection. A
report from the group io e::pected by Thursday evening.
The subject property was originally zoned 1-1, consistent with the
Comprehen Ave Flan; the rezoning request is in order.
Concerns generated by the application include:
1. Status of remaining R-5 land easterly of the Earle
Brown Apartments.
2. platting of `che rezoned land as well as the remainder of
th(a R--5 property.
The entire property presently consists of two Outlots and vacated
James Avenue. A preliminary plat has been submitted and is being
reviewed as to layout and conformity with ordinance standards.
Approval of the rezoning would note the compatibility with the
Compreheni;ive Plan and would be :subject to the condition that the
entire property be keplatted prior to any construction. •
