Location: 4810 Lilac Drive Request: Buildi n,*§ plan Approval On April 10, 1972 the City Council approved plans for .an open work area shelter (Application No. 720 ,9) with dimensions of 42 feet x 60 feet. it -was to be an addition to an existing joist shop. For a variety of reasons, the structure was not built.. This application is, in effect, a reaffirmation of that proposal. The structure would be 30 feet x 100 feet., open on three sides, with steel columns and a steel roof. it would 'be an addition to the joist shop, and would be used to house precision saves . for cutting dimension 1tuaber used in making wood roof trusses. Approval is recommended, recognizing the action on Application No. 72019, and subject to the following conditions: 1. The structure will never be enclosed with walls. 2. The site was substantially upgraded under the terms of the special pexmit for the car -,-.,ash operation. A public hearing has been scheduled. • Approval would be subject to the following conditions: 1) All parking stalls indicated on the approved plans shall be striped on the lot prior to the issuance of a permitj 2) The number and type of rental units, shall be limited to no more than seven trailers and two tracks 3�: Parking of the rental units shall h6 confined' to the stuthv7est area of the site in the spaces indicated on approved plans; 4) The size of the trailers shall not exceed a length of 14 feet zmd the body length of the trucks shall not exceed 20 feet. Use Permit The applicant seeks a special use permit for an existing nursery school operation at the Bro The service consists of 2-11 hour sessions, Monday,through Thursday, in the morning and afternoon. There .are approximately 24 children per session. According to the applicant, there are two certified teachers and three helpers. No food is prepared on the premises. According to our information, this is the last such operation which has been licensed by the State but Which does not have a special use permit. A public hearing has been scheduled. Approval would be subject to the following conditions s 1. The premises will be brought. into compliance with all applicable .state and local regulations as tO fire safety, health and building code standards, and such ctDlitpliance will be documented by the appropriate inspection agencies and submitted to the file prior to the issuance of the special use permit. 2. The permit shall be subject to anrwaal review and the operation shall be in accordance with the pro- visions of the applicant's operating license.
